How Supplied
Sterilised preservative free eye drops (17ml) in plastic spray bottle.
Dosing
ECP/HCP to advise. "The Eye Doctor® Advanced Triple Action Eye Spray can be used as required, 3—4 times per day is recommended". Contact Lenses do not need to be removed.
Formulation
Sterile Hypotonic Preservative Free solution containing:, 0.1% Sacha Inchi (Plukenetia Volubilis) Seed Oil, 2% Trehalose, 0.2% High Molecular-Weight Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerol, Dexpanthenol, Emulsifiers - Polyoxyethylene and Sorbitan Monooleate and Sorbitan Monooleate, Trometamol/Citrate Buffer Emulsion.
Contact Lens Use
Yes, if required.
Indications
"The Eye Doctor® Advanced Triple Action Eye Spray is a sterile lipid microemulsion mist spray intended for the treatment and prevention of signs and symptoms of moderate to severe dry eye, and for moisturising the skin around the eyes. The spray is always applied to closed eyelids only. Dry eye is a condition in which excessive evaporation of the tear film causes areas of increased osmolarity on the eye surface. Tear film instability and hyperosmolarity can maintain ocular surface inflammation and damage, resulting in symptoms such as itching, burning, grittiness, redness, and blurred vision",
Contra-Indications/Cautions
Hypersensitivity to product/class/component. Pregnancy/lactation - EDDB. Discard 6-months after first opening. Store between 5C-30C. Spray onto closed eyes only. Pt not to use other eye drops/ointments within 30 minutes of product use. Advise pt to read and understand all accompanying product information before first use before first use - EDDB.
Adverse Reactions
Temporary blurred vision. If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP - EDDB.
