Novocuris provides a custom-branded mobile application platform to eye hospitals and clinics to help their patients navigate care journeys and streamlines experiences across the care continuum.
The platform is provided on an annual subscription basis (SaaS).

Main functionalities include: Telemedicine, Eye Care Module, Family/Carer Profile Management, Personalised Patient Education, Document Sharing, and Patient Feedback.

The Eye Care module has an innovative eyedrops reminder and a screen-time reminder feature. These provide significant benefits for patients, especially those recovering from surgery or managing conditions like dry eye disease and glaucoma. Importantly, there are patient-reported feedback/outcome measures incorporated into the medication reminder, allowing clinicians to have a view of medication adherence rates.

By promoting consistent eye care routines, the module helps users protect and maintain their eye health with ease and convenience.

The application has been utilised by a leading eye hospital with fantastic success, having patient engagement rates up to 13x industry averages. It has also been used to deliver a corporate wellness program for Microsoft employees, specifically designed to raise awareness about dry eye disease.

I recently had an enthralling video meeting with Dr Saideep Gogineni, MD who introduced me to this groundbreaking application from Novocuris. I must say, after all these years in eye care it takes quite a bit to get the professional adrenaline pumping, but this certainly did!
