Topic: “Astigmatism in cataract surgery – Updates and insights”

This CET virtual event will provide updates about the detailed assessment of pre-operative astigmatism and planning for optimal post-operative refractive results. Biometry takes place on the pre-operative cornea, yet the actual refractive outcome depends on the post-operative cornea. This CET takes the delegate on the journey from biometry to final refraction with a main focus on astigmatism. It explains the latest evidence and IOL formulae that exert a significant influence on the final result and how surgeons plan for the ideal outcome. This CET will also use real cases to illustrate the teaching points of the presentation.
