We are a highly patient centred, long standing independent practice now seeking an experienced optical assistant to join our team long term. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service, assisting patients in selecting glasses and frames, basic dispensing duties and having excellent patient rapport. 
 Responsibilities: 
•            Assist patients in selecting glasses and frames
•            Provide excellent patient centred service
•            Perform eyewear measurements for prescriptions
•            Order and process lenses and frames
•            Maintain a clean and organized optical department
•            Assist with administrative duties as needed 

Requirements: 
•            2+ years of experience working in an optical department
•            Knowledge of current eyewear trends and styles
•            Excellent service and communication skills
•            Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•            Able to work in a fast-paced environment
•            Able to work as part of a team with a strong work ethic
