Full-Time Qualified Dispensing Optician – Independent Practice

Salary:
Range £32000-£38000 (negotiable dependent on candidate experience)

Hours: Around 35 hours per week including (rota of up to 3 Saturdays per month)

Start date: Ideally Mid August 2025

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored dispensing advice to suit each individual’s lifestyle and personal style
Offer honest, caring, and thorough customer service
Work with a high-quality selection of frames and lenses
Select and manage frame stock, get involved in buying!
Support patients through every step of their journey, from consultation to collection
Style Consultations (training provided)
Interest in clinical specialities (training provided eg Cerium Colorimetry, Enchroma for colour vision)
Take part in training and ongoing professional development
Open to personal development and working with a coach
What We’re Looking For:

GOC-registered Dispensing Optician
Warm, approachable personality with a strong focus on customer experience
An interest in styling and fashion
Positive and proactive attitude with a desire for continuous improvement
Team player who thrives in an independent, patient-focused setting
