Can you help us? -
We are looking for a clinic manager for our London E1 clinic, which opens Mondays and Wednesdays from 12.30 -3.30pm. This volunteer role doesn’t require optical training – though optical professionals looking to develop their management skills or perhaps considering retirement, would be ideal.

What does the role entail?

The clinic manager oversees the day-to-day clinic operation including:
NHS Claims administration
Clinic equipment and supplies management
Patient experience and feedback monitoring
Online processing of glasses orders
Host pre-volunteering visits to the clinic
Brief all volunteers on clinic processes prior to their first clinic,
Oversee the training of lay clinic assistants
Act as a point of contact for the team of volunteers
