How Supplied Sterilised eye drops (10ml) in plastic bottle. |

Dosing ECP/HCP to advise. Generally 1 or 2 drops on each eye four times daily. |

Formulation Sterile solution containing:, Sodium Cromoglicate 2% w/v, Disodium Edetate, Benzalkonium Chloride and Purified Water. |

Indications "Hay Fever Eyes and Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis". |

Contra-Indications/Cautions Hypersensitivity to product/class/component. Pregnancy/lactation - EDDB. Attention is drawn to this products possible P classification. Sodium Cromoglicate is to be used prophylactically, Therefore patients should be advised not to discontinue use of the product unless advised to do so. Soft contact lenses should not be worn during treatment. Store below 25C. Discard 28 days after first opening. Advise pt to read and understand all accompanying product information before first use - EDDB. "Avoid contact with soft contact lenses. Remove contact lenses prior to application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion". |

Adverse Reactions Possible: Mild temporary blurred vision, stinging or burning. Pts should be advised not to drive or operate machinery until clarity of vision is restored. If irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP. "All medicines can cause allergic reactions, although serious allergic reactions are very rare. Tell your doctor straight away if you get any. An allergic reaction may include rash, itching, difficulty breathing or swelling of the face, lips, throat or tongue, sudden wheeziness, difficulty in breathing, swelling of the eyelids, face or lips, rash or itching (especially affecting your whole body). The following side effects have been reported: • temporary stinging and blurring of vision • other symptoms of eye irritation (rare)". Not for use in children under six years. If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP. |
