How Supplied
Sterile preservative free ointment (5.0g) in aluminium tube with screw cap.
Dosing
ECP/HCP to advise. Generally; "Once daily in the evening" "....tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid ..... to form a sack. Squeeze the tube slowly until 10mm strip of the product is instilled onto the lower eyelid".
Formulation
Sterile Preservative Free Ointment containing:, Vitamin A Palmitate (25,000 IU/100g), Liquid Paraffin, White Soft Paraffin.

Indications
Dry eye. "Long lasting relief of dry eye and protection of the ocular surface".
Contra-Indications/Cautions
Hypersensitivity to product/class/component.Pregnancy/lactation - EDDB. Pt to wait at least 30 minutes between other drop applications, this product should always be the last medication instilled. Not for use with contact lenses, pt to wait at least 30 minutes before resuming wear. Advise pt to read and understand all accompanying product information before first use - EDDB. Store between 15C to 25C. Once opened, use within 90 days.
Adverse Reactions
"After administration, a slight temporary blurring of vision may be observed, ......, it is advisable to avoid the use of the ointment before any activity that requires clear vision (drive cars, use of machinery, etc.)". If irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP - EDDB. If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP.
