How Supplied
Sterilised eye drops (gel) in single-use (0.6ml) plastic vials (x 24/carton).
Dosing
ECP/HCP to advise. When commencing CL wear: "(Pt to) apply to internal surface of lens before wear". During CL wear: "(Pt to) instil content of 1 unit-dose vial in both eyes over a 5 to 10 minute period, four times per day".
Formulation
Sterile, Hypotonic, Preservative Free solution containing:, Carboxymethylcellulose 1.0%, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Bicarbonate, Calcium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride, Sodium Phosphate, Borate Buffers, Purified Water. Osmolarity 181*. Viscocity 49cps.
Contact Lens Use
Yes, if required.
Indications
Evaporative Dry Eye. "For immediate and soothing long-term relief, lubrication and rewetting of eyes and contact lenses .......".
Contra-Indications/Cautions
Hypersensitivity to product/class/component. Discard vial immediately after use. Pregnancy/lactation - EDDB. Store between 15C-30C. "(Pt to) use individual vials within 90 days of opening pouch". Not to be used simultaneously with other medication on the eye. Advise pt to read and understand all accompanying product information before first use - EDDB.
Adverse Reactions
"(If pt) experiences eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation, or if the condition worsens or persists to discontinue use and consult (ECP/HCP)". Pt not to drive or operate machinery until vision clear. If irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP - EDDB. If vision changes or irritation occurs, persists or increases, pt to discontinue use and consult ECP/HCP
