Eye Care Reform in Wales – What it looks like, what your practice will look like and what that means for everyone – patient and professional.Within this interactive event we will be talking about the changes to the eye care – our contract, the money, and the change in service delivery.Colleagues from across the sector will be sitting on a panel so that you can ask us the questions.  This includes our Welsh Government Advisers and our UK Optical Bodies.  Please make every effort to attend as this is your chance to ask any questions because eye care and how we deliver that currently will be changing. 
The Patient Management Plan – wrapped up in our contract will be a new way of working, come along to hear presentations from our Clinical Optometrist Fellows; Tim Morgan and Sarah Schumm talk about the work they have been doing over the past year and how it has been used in our contract. 
The Welsh Artificial Eye Service This section of the evening will be presented by Claire Allen-Bull Senior Ocularist at UHW. The session will include topics: Overview of the service, Artificial Eye care and common problems along with patient stories, self-image, and psychological impacts.
