No easy answer to this plaintive cry from a colleague who messaged me this evening. There are options for new patients, such as can be found by entering DAILY DISPOSABLE in Product Keyword Search but that doesn't answer his immediate need for his patients.

"Having difficulty getting lenses out or J&J, world wide shortage they say & could 4 to 6 weeks. So, I ordered from an internet supplier, cost me just £0.60 per box more than J&J & will be with me tomorrow morning. If they weren't supplying all the on-line companies, there would be enough for Opticians to buy!! You can understand public buying off Internet, less problems than buying from Optician!!"

"I am about to do same for B&L BioTrue 1 Day torics which have no delivery date, but are in stock at Vision Direct. ? This can't continue."

Is he unfortunate or does this reflect a wider problem?
